This recall involves the youth tan hooded fleece with a yellow box “HUF” logo located on the center chest.
Issue
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that this children’s upper outwear product has a drawstring that can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.
As of September 26, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and remove the drawstring from the hoodie or immediately return the product for a full refund. This can be completed in any Zumiez store in Canada. If you are unable to return to a Zumiez store location, please contact customer care at the information below for a pre-paid return label.
