Shaped decks from Welcome and Santa Cruz in old school, dagger, and novelty cuts. Graphics pull from movies, TV, music, and logo art. These boards are mostly multicolor, mostly weird in the best way. If you're tired of skating a popsicle, these are worth a look. Check out the full range of skateboard decks if you want to compare shapes and sizes.
What are shaped skateboard decks and how do they skate differently?
Shaped decks ditch the standard popsicle outline for old school, dagger, fish tail, or novelty cuts. They ride differently underfoot with wider noses, asymmetrical tails, and work great for transition, pools, or just mixing things up. Brands like Welcome and Santa Cruz have been doing it for years and know how to make them skate well, not just look weird.
What graphics and styles are available on shaped skateboard decks at Zumiez?
Most shaped decks run heavy on multicolor graphics pulling from movies, TV shows, music, and brand logos. Welcome leans into dark, illustrative art while Santa Cruz keeps a lot of classic California imagery. Some boards go full bleed with the artwork, others are cleaner logo decks if you want something less busy.
