Empyre

Established in 1999, Empyre is rooted in skate culture and built on freedom, possibility, and self-expression. Inspired by skateboarding's golden era, the brand blends skate, streetwear, and music influences into a style that feels effortless and accessible while staying true to its foundation of authenticity, nostalgia, and rebellion. Best known for its denim, Empyre offers everything from baggy jeans, ultra loose, and stacked flare jeans to jorts, plus hoodies, graphic tees, and everyday staples made to help you create your own style instead of following someone else's. Available exclusively at Zumiez, Empyre continues to inspire a new generation to express their individuality through clothing.

Is Empyre high quality?
Empyre has been producing skate and streetwear since 1999, so they've had time to dial in construction. Their denim uses quality cotton blends that hold up through regular wear, whether that's skating, school, or every day wear. For the price point, the build quality is solid and the fits don't fall apart after a few washes.
Are Empyre jeans true to size?
Generally yes. Empyre jeans run true to size across most fits. That said, if you're going for an ultra wide or baggy silhouette intentionally, sizing down one is an option depending on how you want them to sit. Check the specific fit description on each style since the range goes from stacked flare to ultra loose.
How do Empyre jeans fit?
Empyre runs a wide range of fits from ultra wide to loose fit, so there’s a fit for every outfit. If skate inspired silhouettes and streetwear are your thing, Empyre's current lineup leans heavily in that direction.
Where can you buy Empyre clothing?
Empyre is carried exclusively at Zumiez, both in-store and online. You won't find it at department stores or big-box retailers. Shopping at Zumiez also means you can pair Empyre denim with other streetwear brands like A.LAB and VITRIOL in one place.
What brands are similar to Empyre?
If you're into Empyre's skate-rooted casualwear and denim, A.LAB and VITRIOL are worth checking out. Both carry unique denim silhouettes and graphic tees with A.LAB leaning into a whimsy and playful style, while VITRIOL pulls from darker, more underground influences.
