SNOWBOARD GLOSSARY

Snowboarding technology can be difficult to understand and even more difficult to keep knowledgeable on the latest technology. Each year snowboard brands come out with new technology that is unique to their brand. Check this guide for definitions and explanations to make your snowboarding experience more enjoyable.

0m- 60 Base

Found on our urban boards, this base is all about acceleration down the drop-in and getting up to speed quickly. It doesnt have the highest top-end speed, but it will get you to the lip in a short distance faster than anything else. Plus, its tough and stands up to metal, stairs, and cement ledges.

10:45™

Aggressive rippers take note. 10:45s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.

15% Glass-filled Nylon

The perfect blend of feel and power. A composite blend of 15% glass fibers are mixed in with high-grade nylon. Not too stiff. Not too soft. Just right.

2 to 1 Internal Deep Draw

Anchors deep in the shell for enhanced heel hold and ankle support, webbing tucked inside for a clean aesthetic.

270° Airbag Cushioning

Get more cushioning and less weight. A 50% larger airbag covers approximately 75% of the midsole for unstoppable impact protection

3D Formed Dual Density EVA

A soft EVA for comfort and a harder second density for extra foot support where you need it.

3D ThinGrip™

For better fit and better grip, this new 3D ThinGrip™ offers a new flip-lever tool-less adjust.
