Sendero was founded out of a love for the West. We love the landscapes, cultures, history, geology, flora, and fauna of the American West. Our very first hat was inspired by the wild views of Big Bend country in West Texas. And there's nothing better than putting on a hat that fits just right. We've been chasing that feeling ever since, and although we make a whole lot more than hats these days, that feeling of making our first hat is what keeps us going and pushing the boundaries. There are a few simple things that we value here at Sendero: a hard day's work, free-flowing rivers, public land, quality gear, live music, art for art's sake, craft beverages, and fine Texas BBQ. So naturally, we planted our roots right here in Waco, Texas. We're not all Texans here at Sendero, but "Texas" is more a state of mind than a birthright. Here are some of the things that make Sendero who we are: A love for the West: We are passionate about the American West and all that it has to offer. We use only the best materials and construction in our products. A focus on sustainability: We are committed to using sustainable materials and practices in the production of our products. We also donate a portion of our profits to environmental causes. A love of adventure: We are inspired by people who are passionate about the outdoors and adventure. We want to create products that will help people explore the world. A sense of community: We believe in building a community of people who share our love of the West.
