Wax

Snowboard wax comes in all temperature ranges, sizes, and colors, and while there may be an endless supply of wax brands and types to choose from, the question of how you apply the snowboard wax is the most important. Snowboard wax can be categorized into two groups, rub-on wax, and hot wax. Rub-on snowboard wax is similar to polishing a car, it's easy to do and requires little maintenance or effort. Hot waxing a snowboard requires much more time and requires at least a waxing iron and scraper. Hot wax is the preferred method by shops for its durability, and increased performance over it's rub-on counterpart.
