Zero Skateboards

Zero Skateboards was originally started in 1996 as a clothing company by pro skaters Anthony Freiberg and Jamie "The Chief" Thomas. At the time, Freiberg and Thomas were skateboarding professionally for Toy Machine. The Zero Skateboards brand eventually evolved into a fully legit skateboard hardgood and apparel company, with Thomas leaving Toy Machine and becoming Zero's first pro rider. The Zero Skateboards skate team has progressed into a powerhouse of skateboarders gaining podium spots in highlighted comps; Zero Skateboards pro Chris Cole won the 2005 S.O.T.Y. (Skateboarder of the Year) Award. The team also claimed three consecutive wins at Thrasher Magazine's King of the Road competition from 2004 to 2006. They have since moved on from the King of the Road comp and joined forces in 2007 with their extended family, the Mystery Skateboards team, to start the "Black and White Tour".
